These organizations are dedicated to helping men who wish to end their violent behavior in intimate partner and family relationships. In particular, it brings together, represents, and supports community organizations and other stakeholders concerned with men\u2019s issues. The RVP is recognized and funded on a mission-based basis by the Ministry of Family Affairs and Centraide of Greater Montreal. They serve as points of contact where people can turn for help with health and psychosocial issues. There, residents can receive appropriate services or be referred to another resource within the regional service network. Other institutions in the health and social services network (4 university hospitals and 3 university institutes) offer specialized and subspecialized services beyond the boundaries of their respective health and social services regions.
